How do you do this?
By training, in various situations, different real-time variables.
Winners need to constantly perform at their peak, on any given day, regardless if they’ve missed their flight, caught a flu, or (worst of all), the death of a family member happen.
Winning doesn’t give you excuses.
I remember the times I had to stay up and write articles and post this and that, so deadlines are met.
I remember finishing articles after hearing the passing news of my grandaunt.. While my heart was still hurting, work still had to go on.
And as I was reading Tim Grover’s book on Winning, sure enough, the great athletes of the world had to sacrifice and endure hardships (unbearable to us) to win.
They look like they have it easy. But what they overcame, is not something anybody would want to do.
Winning comes at a price.
While these situations don’t come often, they do appear.
And you need to train yourself every day, so you can be ready when life throws curveballs at you.
Back to my training..
