Being Multidimensional Helps you become Anti-Fragile.
My newest mantra going forward: anti-fragile.
This is something I learned after watching an Indonesian podcast that featured Maudy Ayunda (omg, I love her — someone please tell her this on my behalf).
Specialization is one thing. Multi-dimensional is one thing.
While in the tourism Industry, I specialize in Solo Traveling as a Muslim Woman; that is not the entirety and the end of my identity.
Many people get so attached to one part of themselves that when it crumbles, they lose themselves in the process and find it hard to get back up.
I am also a daughter, a writer, I am enthusiastic about personal development (hence why you’re reading this), I love carrot cake too much and would spearhead a carrot cake club if there’s any, and Uhm, recently flowers and classic watches?
These multi-dimensional parts of me help me become headstrong and anti-fragile.
Becoming multi-dimensional, with MST having its own voice rather than relying on my voice, is how I managed to deal with crisis management (mentioned from last week’s letter) from a brand’s perspective, not my emotional feelings (I tend to get caught up in this if there’s no fence).
Now I understood the reason why I transitioned MST from blogger to community. Cause I knew being fixated on one identity could crush me. And for MST to become anti-fragile means to move away from my one-self identity. Lol, am I dishing out my book secrets already?
What about you? What and who are you besides what you put on your bio and your titles?
I am curious to know more about individuals as they truly are, behind the IG stories, the socmed bio, and the clique social settings.
Hit the reply mail, and I can’t wait to hear all about it. It can be the funniest, littlest or most bizarre thing ever!
